Join this innovative series of nine seminars led by faculty/researchers from the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, the Center for Creative Ecology at Kibbutz Lotan, and Northeastern Universit, aimed at building a diverse international community interested in sustainable living, renewable energy, conservation, peace-building, diplomacy, and public policy in the desert environment of the Middle East. Participation in the entire series is highly encouraged.
Topics include: Climate crisis and the hyper-arid environment, Renewable energy for off-grid Bedouin village, Cross-border water management and reuse in Israel, Palestine, and their neighbors, Biomimicry.
A certificate of completion is available for participants who join for 7 or more sessions. Registration is free but required. Register by February 19th.
