On Wednesday, April 12th 2017, Fossil Free ND partnered with the Center for Social Concerns and the Minor in Sustainability to host a panel discussion titled "Making an Impact with Sustainable Investing". The panel featured Notre Dame alum Bill Reilly '90, First Vice President in Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch, who assessed the financial aspects of divestment from fossil fuel companies and explored the role that an individual's investment choices could play in the broader movement of divestment. He was joined on the panel by William P. and Hazel B. White Professor of English Laura Walls and environmental engineering major Cameron Hart '17. The panel was moderated by Sam Miller, Professor of Management and Director of the Gigot Center for Entrepreneurship in the Mendoza College of Business.
