Robert Percival from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law presents "Greening China’s “Belt and Road” Through New Measures to Promote Transnational Environmental Accountability". Mark your calendar for this installment of the Vermont Law School Virtual brown bag summer lecture series - Hot Topics!

Professor Percival served as a law clerk for Judge Shirley M. Hufstedler of the Ninth Circuit and for Supreme Court Justice Byron R. White, and spent six years as an attorney for the Environmental Defense Fund. He has served as a visiting professor at Harvard Law School and Georgetown University Law Center. He is the principal author of the most widely used environmental law casebook. He was a J. William Fulbright Scholar at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing in 2008 and has worked with China’s Supreme People’s Court, the National People’s Congress, the Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the China Council on International Cooperation for Environment and Development.
