Dr. Kristen Intemann is the co-author of a recent book titled The Fight Against Doubt: How to Bridge the Gap Between Scientists and the Public which deals with, among other things, dissenting views toward climate change.

Kristen Intemann is Professor of History and Philosophy and Chair of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Montana State University, where she specializes in ethics, philosophy of science, and feminist philosophy.

Dr. Intemann's lecture is the opening keynote for Notre Dame's first annual History and Philosophy of Science, Technology, and Values Graduate Conference will focus on the theme of "Science and the Public".
