John Moran '95 is Vice President of Goldman Sachs Renewable Energy Group and has been in the solar industry since 2006. John has worked in all aspects of the solar industry, from installing projects to negotiating contracts, and from financial modeling to utility-scale solar sales.
John’s talk, “Careers in Renewable Energy” will cover his experiences working in the solar industry, as well as his outlook for renewable energy jobs into the future. He will specifically talk about what students need to do to succeed in the renewable energy industry.
This talk is well suited for any student interested in a future career in the renewable energy industry. Students studying business, STEM, or sustainability, especially soon-to-be-graduating students, are encouraged to attend.
