Seminar speaker Joe Benco is Vice President for Engineering Technical Support at Republic Services Inc. Republic Services is the second largest provider of non-hazardous solid waste collection, transfer, disposal, recycling, and energy services in the United States. The company is active in recycling, reducing carbon emissions by replacing diesel trucks with compressed natural gas powered trucks, supporting composting and other community projects which relate to environmental conservation, sustainability and education.
Mr. Benco received his Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and has over 25 years' experience in environmental engineering and waste management.
